OUR CORE PROGRAM

Mental Health and Rehabilitation Care

Counseling, structured rehabilitation and long term community support, delivered without judgment.
WHY THIS MATTERS IN KENYA TODAY

The Numbers Behind Our Work

Mental health struggles are far more common in Kenya than most people
realize, and far less talked about than they should be. These figures describe
real people in our own community, not just statistics in a report.

1 in 10

People affected by common mental disorders nationally, per Kenya's Ministry of Health

4 in 10

Primary care patients showing signs of severe depression, per the Ministry of Health

1 in 11

Youth aged 15-24 currently using at least one substance, per NACADA's national survey

HOW WE HELP

Our Approach to Recovery

Counseling

Our sessions give patients room to talk through what they are carrying, whether that is grief, trauma, addiction or the slow weight of hardship.

Rehabilitation Planning

From there, we build a rehabilitation plan suited to the individual, combining medical support with practical steps toward daily stability.
HEALING BEYOND THE CLINIC

The Grazing Yard

Recovery does not happen in a room alone. Our grounds
include a quiet grazing yard where patients can walk among
grazing cattle, away from noise and pressure, to calm their
thoughts.

HEALING BEYOND THE CLINIC

Hospital Soccer Team

Open to patients working toward better health and to
community members who want to join in. Physical activity,
teamwork and simple friendship play a bigger role in recovery
than people often expect.

"Healing begins when people start to interact on the side of the road."

A belief that guides our outreach, in the words of our own team. You do not have to face it without support.

Our team is trained to listen without judgment, and to walk with you through every step of recovery.
